Patterson will talk about her recent book and how her garden journey started as a neophyte. She'll talk about some pitfalls transforming her garden and writing her book, and her learning curve along the way.

Many of us spend a lot more time indoors in winter. This often leads to illnesses especially from airborne viruses. We all know about Covid, but many other airborne flu can adversely affect our health. Stevie Famulari has developed a design and technique to reduce the infectiousness of these air borne viruses in schools, living and working spaces using plants with proper designs. The "Famulari Theory", as she calls it, describes how plants, with certain characteristics, can accumulate airborne viruses and how to grow those plants indoors to be most effective.
