Ah April! What a month; National Gardening Month, Kid’s Gardening Month, Earth Day and of course my favorite green holiday which is Arbor Day, because we always need more trees. 😉
April is also the time members and non-members can Discover New Outlets for Your Writing: Trade Publications webinar happening on April 24th for only $25. Then, April 25-27 GardenComm is presenting it’s first Sustainability Summit. The best part is, this event is FREE to all attendees. Get more information and register below ⬇️
And while not in April, sign-ups for our Annual Conference continue to grow (bad pun intended) AND we recently started rolling out the list of speakers, educational sessions, tours and special events with more details to come. I’m excited to reconnect in person with garden friends I haven’t seen in awhile (I’m talking you Dan Benarcik – remember when we met in Portland on the tour bus to the rose garden?) and meet newbies such as Derek Haynes, aka the Chocolate Botanist, who I follow on Instagram (thanks to C.L. Fornari, for taking my recommendation). I know that Ryan McEnaney and the local arrangements committee are rolling out the red carpet. It will be an event to remember!
Ya know, we’d really appreciate a like, comment and/or share for our Annual Conference on social media, or for any of our events for that matter. Keep in mind that our Facebook GROUP is private so you can’t share from there. BUT, you can share from our Facebook PAGE. We need help expanding our reach so we sincerely appreciate a small social media gesture. Thank you for taking the time to assist!
Take care, get dirty and #PlantSomething because #gardeningcanbegoodforyourhealth
PS - Don’t forget! Take a few moments to nominate deserving individuals for the 2023 GardenComm Honors. Let’s acknowledge those people and companies who have paved the way and supported us by giving them deserved recognition.
